OKLAHOMA CITY, OK—APRIL 8, 2018—Tac N Dale, a 2-year-old by two-time champion Prospect To The Top, won a shake over Jess Proved Youwrong Sunday morning at Remington Park to earn the final spot in the April 21st restricted Grade 2 $934,500 Remington Park Oklahoma-Bred Futurity.
Tac N Dale (trial 7) and Jess Proved Youwrong (trial 9) each won their trial on Saturday night with the exact time of :16.906.
Trainer Jason Pascoe saddled Tac N Dale to his first win in two starts for owner/breeder Dusty Rose Ranch, LLC. Under jockey Berkley Packer the bay gelding bumped at the start then dueled early before pulling away to a three-quarter length win.
Tac N Dale is out of the Okey Dokey Dale mare Docs Dusty Dale, a finalist in the Remington Park Juvenile and the Speedhorse Futurity(G2). In his first start, March 22, Tac N Dale got an awkward start and finished sixth.
Jess Proved Youwrong, a daughter of leading sire Apollitical Jess, now becomes eligible to compete in the April 21st $100,000 Remington Park Juvenile Invitational.

It was also the second start for the filly who ducked out and finished third in her Remington Park debut on March 18. Out of the Strawfly Special mare Oh Strawfly Go, Jess Proved Youwrong is a half-sister to Pauls Valley Handicap(G3) winner Oh Cooper Go.

Sunday, April 8 racing will feature trials for the $347,400 Remington Park Derby. The first race Sunday is at 1:30pm-Central.
