FREDERICKSBURG, TX—APRIL 12, 2018—Nominations for two futurities, scheduled during the 2018 Gillespie County Fair Association race meet, are due Monday, April 16th.

The 2018 G.C.F.A. race meet will be held July 7 thru August 26.

A $150 nomination fee is due Monday, April 16 for the $15,000-added Gillespie County Fair Futurity. Trials for the 350 yard race for 2-year-olds will be conducted on August 11 and the final will run back on August 26.

A $100 nomination fee is due April 16 for the $10,000-added G.C.F.A. July Firecracker Futurity. Trials for the 350 yard race for 2-year-olds will be conducted on July 8 and the final will run back on July 21.

In addition, a new race added for 2018 is the $7,500-added G.C.F.A July Maiden Classic (not black type). The 350 yard race if for 3-year-old and up Quarter Horses maidens at time of entry to the trials.

Original nominations for $200 close on June 4. Another $500 is due at time of entry. Late nominations for $1,000 may also be made at time of entry.

All payments for be postmarked or in the G.C.F.A. office by dates listed. At "time of entry" fees must be received by the nomination secretary or horsemen's account prior to entries.
