LOS ALAMITOS, CA—APRIL 16, 2018— The Los Alamitos Pick Four pools reached record numbers during this past weekend of April 13-15.

The biggest number was the combined total wagered in the Pick Fours last week of $955,538. The total figure set a new record for a single week at Los Alamitos, shattering the previous mark of $930,256 set on Kentucky Derby weekend last year (May 5-7).

The average pool for the week in the late Pick Four of $144,616 was also a record, bettering the previous high of $141,417 posted earlier this year during the Brad McKinzie Los Alamitos Winter Championship and Los Alamitos Derby weekend on February 9-11.

The average pool for the week in the early Pick Four was $173,896, which is the third highest average during a single week at Los Alamitos. The early Pick Four pool of $207,229 on Sunday, April 15 was the third highest single night total of all-time here.

Sunday’s early and late Pick Four wagers combined to handle $361,952, the second highest combined total for a single night.
