HOUSTON, TX—APRIL 18, 2018—Through the first three weeks of the Sam Houston Race Park Quarter Horse meet, trainer Saul Ramirez, Jr. holds a narrow edge over his fellow conditioners with nine wins.

It will be a battle for leading rider as well with Francisco Calderon and Eddie Sanchez tied for the lead with nine wins.

Ricardo Barrera tops the owner standings with four wins to date. Ruben Garcia Montemayor follows with three top finishes.

Live racing returns to The Park on Friday with an 8-race card. First post is 7:30 pm (CDT).
