RUIDOSO DOWNS, NM—MAY 31, 2018— Tickets go on sale Monday, June 4 for the 29th annual Lincoln County Cowboy Symposium October 12-14.

This year’s featured evening musical guests include Lee Greenwood Thursday, October 11, Sawyer Brown Friday, October 12, and Moe Bandy Saturday, October 13.

"This is a very strong lineup with outstanding entertainment scheduled throughout the days and evenings," Ruidoso downs president and general manager Jeff True said. "We welcome everyone who loves the sounds and flavors of the Cowboy Symposium to make plans now for an extraordinary weekend in the fall."

New this year will be online ticket sales available at ticketstothecity.com, which will allow the public to choose their seats and print tickets. The race track box office will also be available for ticket sales at 575-378-4140.

"This is a new feature that we are offering for ticket purchasing that we hope is more convenient," True said. "Many of these events have sold-out in the past, so we encourage everyone to purchase their tickets early especially for the evening concerts."

Pricing for the evening shows start at $40, but prices vary based on the individual show and seat selection. There is also a 10-percent discount offered for customers who purchase tickets to all three evening shows.

The annual Cowboy Symposium is considered one of the top southwestern swing music festivals in the region every year. There is also a world-famous chuckwagon cookoff sponsored by Albertson’s Market, three music stages, western demonstrations, equine events, kid’s rodeo, and more than one hundred vendors with western art, hand-made crafts and décor. Thousands of people visit the Cowboy Symposium every year from throughout the World to dance, hear western swing music, and shop for three days.
