AMERICAN QUARTER HORSE ASSOCIATION—JULY 25, 2018— After an impressive victory in Sunday’s $1 million Rainbow Futurity (G1) at Ruidoso Downs, MM Fourinthemorning debuted at No. 1 in the latest AQHA Racing National Poll for 2-year-olds.

The Mr Jess Perry gelding is out of Easeful Dinastia, a half-sister to champion and sire FDD Dynasty. MM Fourinthemorning runs for his breeders, Annette and Mark McCloy of Tatum, New Mexico. MM Fourinthemorning won the 400-yard stakes by three-parts of a length and figures to be one of the favorites heading into the All American Futurity (G1) trials next month.

The rankings at the top of the 2-year-old poll remained tightly bunched, with Ruidoso Futurity (G1) winner Blue Corazon and Ed Burke Million Futurity (G1) winner Wave Her Down close behind MM Fourinthemorning in second and third, respectively.

The poll for older horses was again mostly unchanged with two-time reigning world champion Jessies First Down holding down the top spot for the 13th week in a row.

A busy weekend of racing this weekend could lead to some changes to next week’s polls, as graded stakes are set to be run at Retama Park, Fair Meadows, Los Alamitos and Ruidoso Downs.
