EVANSTON, WY—AUGUST 18, 2018—Hip 28 Jes Zoomin Girl, a daughter of multiple stake sire Jess Zoomin, was the high-seller for $6,400 during the 1st annual Wyoming Downs All Breed Race Bred Sale held Saturday at Wyoming Downs in Evanston.
JV Quarter Horses purchased the 5-year-old mare in foal to Grade 1-placed Glock, a $217,193 earnings son of champion Foose, from Steve Morgan. A multiple stakes-finalist, Jes Zoomin Girl won four of nine starts and earned $11,136.
Cody Allred signed a $6,200 ticket for Shidacious, a yearling gelding by multiple stakes sire Bodacious Dash from the stakes winning Proudest Effort mare Shi D Anna. Allreds Horse Haven was the consignor.
Jaquin Saenz paid $5,800 for Hip 11 Tactigal, a yearling filly by Tac It Like A Man consigned by Tom Peterson. The filly out of Nurturist by Separatist is a half-sister to stakes-placed Zoose and LT Heza Winner.
The sale grossed $100,400 on 33 head sold from the 39 offered for a $2,982 average and $2,350 median.
Julie Wahlen was the leading buyer with two purchases totaling $9,700 and Ron Moosman led all consignors or agents selling five head for $20,900.
Conn Creek was the leading yearling sire (by average with two or more sold) with three head averaging $4,587. Glock with the sale's leading covering sire (by average with two or more sold) with two in-foal mare for averaging $3,950. Jr Dynasty Mountain had two in-foal mares for $2,100.
