SHAKOPEE, MN—FEBRUARY 7, 2019—The 2019 Minnesota Quarter Horse Racing Association’s Stallion Service Auction is open for bids through Sunday, February 10. The annual online auction lists 70 stallions, including Hes Relentless, A Revenant, Mr Piloto, Separate Interest, and One Dashing Eagle.

Stallions nominated to the sale comprise the eligible list of stallions for corresponding MQHRA Stallion Auction Futurity. Any progeny of these stallions, regardless of foaling state, if the foal was a result of a breed purchased in the sale, or whether a service was sold in the auction, will be eligible to be nominated to the 2022 MQHRA Stallion Auction Futurity.

The 2019 MQHRA Stallion Futurity, formerly known as the Minnesota Stallion Breeders’ Futurity, is a $20,000 added race at 350 yards held on Sunday, July 7, 2019. Late nominations are accepted for $1,000 through April 1. Canterbury Park’s stakes schedule and all nomination forms can be accessed at Canterbury Park’s website.
