StallioneSearch To Launch Its New Podcast Show

DALLAS, TX—SEPTEMBER 18, 2019—StallioneSearch.com launches its newest format of Quarter Horse racing news with the release today of a new podcast talk-show on StallioneSearch entitled "QH Racing Talk With Greg and Freddy."

The trend of podcasting has spread widely throughout the horse industry, and especially in the thoroughbred racing industry. According to a March issue of Forbes Magazine, podcasting is the concept of giving the ability to listeners the platform to stream content in the form of a talk radio-show that discusses a specific genre or topic on-demand on any device over the internet.

The article goes on to point out that the trend of podcasting is finally gaining mass market appeal in many markets after more than 10 years since its inception.

The podcast idea, not a new one for StallionSsearch, as it has produced podcasts in 2011 and again in 2015. With the trend of on-demand news or podcast discussions becoming more prevalent in the world of electronic media, a podcast about Quarter Horse racing is something the StallioneSearch felt it needed to re-explore to continue to set the standard of Quarter Horse racing coverage.

"This idea of doing a podcast comes from the Quarter Horse racing fans and various people in the industry who have suggested it over the years," said StallioneSearch.com's Greg Thompson. "We've had this idea for some time, but hadn't really seen the opportunity as clearly as we see it now. Personally I know so many friends and family that listen to podcasts on various topics that they find interest in, and now I feel we will be providing an opportunity for the Quarter Horse racing fan to have a 'go-to' place to listen to topics of Quarter Horse racing on their way to work or at home on their computer in the form of a podcast."

On StallioneSearch.com, the show will be co-hosted by Greg Thompson and Freddy Carmona. The format of the show will be designed to include special guest of Quarter Horse industry significance to participate in discussing various Quarter Horse related topics.

On the Spanish-version of StallioneSearch at StallioneSearchesp.com, Freddy Carmona will host the show in Spanish. Both shows will also be posted on social media, as well as on file streaming services like iTunes, Spotify, etc.

Episode 1 on StallioneSearch, which premieres today, features a discussion about the events surrounding the running of the 2019 All American Futurity(G1) in Ruidoso Down, NM.

"It will be our intention to create content that people will look forward to uploading on their phone to listen to on their commute to work," said Carmona. "I am a not only a reporter of this sport, but I am also one of the biggest fans in Quarter Horse racing. Where Greg will provide the expertise with his tremendous knowledge of racing, I have the hope that my passion and enthusiasm for the sport will come through in these podcasts."
