OPELOUSAS, LA–NOVEMBER 27, 2024–Five graded stakes winners––San Lorenzo Jezz, Hes Bold As Corona, RF Fast Dash N Train, Gold Gun Z, and San Lorenzo Firulais––are among the 113 state-bred juveniles entered in Friday's 400-yard LQHBA Million Futurity (RG1) trials at Evangeline Downs.

First post time for Friday's program is set for 4:35 p.m. (CST). The 10 fastest qualifiers from Friday's 12 trials will meet in the December 21. $1-million LQHBA Million Futurity final.

A homebred daughter of American Hussle trained by Jeremy Derozin for owner Rogelio Marquez Jr., San Lorenzo Jezz has earned $361,531 from five races, and her three wins include a head victory in the July 13, $654,000 Lee Berwick Futurity (RG1) at Delta Downs.

San Lorenzo Jezz drew post 7 and will be ridden by Ubaldo Luna in the sixth trial.

Hes Bold As Corona races for M and M Stables LLC from the barn of trainer Luis Martinez. A multiple stakes winning gray son of Coronas Leaving You, the gelding has banked $266,527 from six outs, and his early season resume includes a half-length win in the March 30, $459,000 Mardi Gras Futurity (RG2) at Louisiana Downs.

Hes Bold As Corona drew post 7 and will be ridden by Rolando Cabrera in the ninth heat.

Juan Cano trains RF Fast Dash N Train for owner Jaime Cardenas. A $57,000 purchase at last year's LQHBA Yearling Sale, the Freighttrain B filly won two of her three starts during the Delta Downs meet, including the 330-yard, $291,000 Louisiana Breeders' Lassie Futurity (RG2) for state-bred fillies in May.

RF Fast Dash N Train drew post 10 and will be ridden by Luis F. Ruiz in the ninth trial.

Gold Gun Z also won two of his three races during the Delta Downs meet, including the 330-yard, $292,000 Louisiana Breeders' Laddie Futurity (RG2) for state-bred colts and geldings in May. Jose R. Espinosa trains the Gold Heart Eagle V gelding for owner Party Tyme Racing.

Gold Gun Z drew post 3 and will be ridden by Arnulfo Gutierrez in the 10th heat.

San Lorenzo Firulais drew post 3 and will be ridden by David Alvarez in the 11th trial. An undefeated son of champion Carters Cartel trained by Jeremy Derozin for owner Rogelio Marquez Jr., the brown colt has won all three of his outs -- including the September 14, $550,000 LQHBA Sale Futurity (RG1) at Fair Grounds Racecourse -- and he has earned $261,021.

The Louisiana QHBA Million Futurity is the state's richest Quarter Horse race.
