Classic Dynasty Dash Scores Second Futurity Win In Rock Springs Wyoming Bred Futurity Saturday

ROCK SPRINGS, WY—SEPTEMBER 25, 2021—Classic Dynasty Dash was a gate-to-wire three-quarter length winner over Cayenneoverthemoon in the $77,120 Rock Springs Wyoming Bred Futurity Saturday afternoon at Sweetwater Downs.

Under jockey Joe Dominguez, Classic Dynasty Dash completed the 300 yards in :15.412 seconds, earning a 104 speed index into a 4 mph crosswind. It was the fifth career win in six starts for the Riley Moosman trainee. The $30,848 winners' purse today boosted Classic Dynasty Dash's bankroll to $67,686 for the year.

Two races back the son of multiple stakes sire Jr Dynasty Mountain won the Ron Cook Wyoming Bred Futurity at Wyoming Downs.

The bay gelding races for owners Ron Moosman and Gordon Knudsen. Ron and Laurie Moosman bred Classic Dynasty Dash from the Winners Version mare Steffiesclassic Dash.

Trainer Riley Moosman and jockey Joe Dominguez teamed to get a hattrick on Saturday, winning all three of the Quarter Horse stakes on Sweetwater Downs Saturday race card. They also won the $47,590 Rock Springs Wyoming Bred Derby with Blazin Jr Jess and the $23,145 Rock Spring Wyoming Bred Maturity with Gotta Lotta Pappa.

Runner-up Cayenneoverthemoon picked up $15,424 for her second-place effort. Trainer Jess Matt sent out the daughter of multiple stakes sire Brindis Por Cayenne for owner Walter Larson. Jockey Uriel Dominquez rode the chestnut filly out of Dashmetothemoon by Apollo (TB). She has earned $20,811 in six starts this season. S Bar S is the breeder.

A pair of Turbulent Times 2-year-olds, Magou and Sb Timetoshine, dead-heated for third and earned $6,555 each for their efforts.

Trainer Terrill Tsosie conditions Magou for owner CB Stables. David Jimenez rode the bay gelding out of Mags Rambling Moon by Jess My Moon. Walter Larson is the breeder. Magou was also third in the Oneida County QH Futurity last month.

Sb Timetoshine is a homebred racing for owner-breeder Steve Berry. Alvaro Torres trains the filly out of Southern Surfer Girl by Southern Cartel. Gerardo Vera rode the multiple stakes-placed filly who has banked $18,030 in six starts this year. She was third in the Ron Cook Wyoming Bred Futurity in July.

Bk Wildkat, Lady White Fox and Yo Brindis Delite completed the field. Eyesa Special Swirl, Gunning To The Lead and Woodys Trick were scratched.
