This Parties Hoppin Gets Third Consecutive Stakes Win At Arapahoe Park Sunday

AURORA, CO—AUGUST 7, 2022— Multiple stakes winner This Parties Hoppin got his third consecutive stakes at Arapahoe Park Sunday afternoon when he defeated Indeed by half-a-length in the $18,250 Leo Beau Dash Stakes.

This Parties Hoppin's win streak started October 8, 2021, when the son of Five Bar Cartel won the Mile High Derby.  He kicked off 2022's race season at Ara[ajpe with a win in the Dolls Prodigy Stakes on July 4.

Today the 4-year-old broke out at the start under jockey Daniel Valles but still completed the 400 yards in :19.995 seconds, equaling a 97 speed index into an 8 mph headwind.  It was the sixth career win in 20 starts for This Parties Hoppin.

Trainer Nava Arjon conditions the sorel gelding for owner Vences Racing. Bred in Colorado by Jose Antonio Flores, from the Check Him Out mare Bsimjumpn, This Parties Hoppin has earned $76,457. 

Runner-up Indeed earned $3,650 for his effort. Jose Chavez trains the multiple stakes-placed son of Wagon Tales for owner Jose Castaneda. Manuel Meza had the riding call aboard the 4-yaer-old Oklahoma-bred earner of $40,664.  Mr. and Mrs. Judd Morse bred Indeed from the Apollo (TB) mare Dancing Iam.

Sizzlin Chick Corona finished a neck back for owner Rancho Garambuyo and trainer Alexander Orozco. Scott Blethke rode the 5-year-old Pyc Paint Your Wagon mare out of Financial Leverage by Mr Jess Perry. Bred in Oklahoma by H & E Horse, Inc., Sizzlin Chick Corona is a multiple stakes placed earner of $46,199.

Im Jess Good, The Designer, Kooler Wagon, Unforgiven B and Cashsurfer completed the field.
