Just Wishn Much The Best Gets Fourth Consecutive Win In $24,750 Olympia Joe Stakes

GRAND PRAIRIE, TX—DECEMBER 3, 2022—Just Wishn (PT), a stakes winning son of the Quarter Horse sire Boknaai, got another stakes win on Saturday night when he won the $24,750 Olympia Joe Stakes at Lone Star Park.

Under jockey Francisco Ramirez, Jr., Just Wishn, was alert at the start then cruised to a two-length win over Secret Livewire.  The 4-year-old completed the 400 yard couse in :19.746 seconds, equaling a 94 speed index. It was his fourth consectuive win.

Trainer Esteban Rubio saddled the gelding to ninth career win in 15 starts for owner Sarah Huskey.  The $10,148 winner's purse boosted the Texas-bred's earnings total to over $113,000.  Sandra Garnett Tatom bred Just Wishn from the Awesome Chrome mare Just Splashin.

After ducking in at the start under jockey Raul Ramirez, Jr., Secret Livewire finished second for owner 2LD Farm, LLC. Gary Jacobs saddled the son of leading APHA stallions CRM Livewire from The Way Home mare Moonlight Who.  The $4,207 in earnings pushes the Paint geldings earnings to over $67,000. Lisa Lucido is the breeder.

A half-length back in third, Js Runnin Wire earned $2,723 for owner-breeder Shirley Wheeler. Dee Keener named jockey Gonzalo Gutierrez to ride the CRM Livewire 3-year-old out of Iwilliewantarunner by Willie Wanta Dash. He has earned more than $127,000.

Wf High Gear, Wh Stevie Nix, Separate Wagons, Wired To Win, Wearereadynow and A Special Dynasty completed the field.
