Q RACING–JULY 22, 2022–The Bank of America Challenge Championships at Horseshoe Indianapolis in Shelbyville, Indiana, will be one of the highlights of the racing year.

The October 22 event will offer nearly $1 million in purses during a single night of racing, and a full array of divisions, from juvenile runners to 440-yard specialists with many potential champions set to run.

In addition to the top-notch racing and the important racing conference, there are a wide range of fun activities for attendees and their families to sign up for.

Here are a few ideas to get you started:

Exponential Horsepower
Indianapolis is famous for fast horsepower – highlighted by the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, home of the Indianapolis 500.

The IMS is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day except Sundays. They offer a museum and tours, as well as the “Indy Racing Experience” that allows you to cruise the racetrack in a racecar.

Fort Harrison State Park will be flourishing in fall colors, and has a number of activities to choose from, including hiking, biking, a nature center and museum, horseback riding and golfing.

The more adventurous youth will enjoy Go Ape Treetop Zipline Adventure – zipline or tackle the outdoor obstacle courses. You can even try axe throwing!
