AURORA, CO—AUGUST 24, 2020—Alma Olivas’ KB Apollitical Trump, a stakes-placed son of Apollitical Blood, is one of 11 2-year-olds entered back in Wednesday’s 400-yard, $55,335 Mile High Futurity at Arapahoe Park.

KB Apollitical Trump has won one of three starts and has earned $16,412 -- all at Arapahoe Park -- and his record includes a second-place finish, a neck behind winner Entrepenewer, in the July 1, 330-yard Rocky Mountain Futurity. A $10,000 purchase at last year’s Heritage Place Yearling Sale, the gelding drew post 2 and will be ridden by Jose Meza for trainer Uriel Delgado.

Fastest qualifier Ramacin Ranger, a gelded son of Ec Jet One owned and trained by Hipolito Michel-Valverde, drew the rail post and will be ridden by Fernando Fonseca-Soto. A $12,500 buy at last last year’s Heritage Place Yearling Sale, Ramacin Ranger has won his last two outs, including the first of three Mile High Futurity trials on August 16.

Also on Wednesday, stakes winners One Flying Dynasty and Favorite Rock head a field of 11 sophomores entered back in the 400-yard, $53,295 Mile High Derby.

One Flying Dynasty is a gelded son of champion Fdd Dynasty trained by Manuel Chavez for owner David Leonardo Valles Cortes. During his 2-year-old season, One Flying Dynasty earned $128,333 from four races, and he scored a neck victory as the 3-2 favorite in the 400-yard, $246,000 La Fiesta Futurity at Albuquerque Downs.

One Flying Dynasty drew post 8 and will be ridden by Daniel Valles.

Favorite Rock drew post 9 and will be ridden by Alejandro Luna for owner Hugo Barron-Sierra and trainer Jose Manuel Barron. A California-bred son of Favorite Cartel, the gelding has won two of his three starts at Arapahoe Park this season, including the July 1, 350-yard Rocky Mountain Derby.
