Ten Sprinters Entered in Grade 3 Keokuk Stakes

ALTOONA, IA—AUGUST 25, 2020—Heza Blues Man, a 4-year-old son of Favorite Cartel owned and trained by John Hammes, is one of 10 sprinters entered in Saturday’s 350-yard, $50,000 Keokuk Stakes (G3) at Prairie Meadows.

Heza Blues Man will be shortening in distance off of his third-place finish, two lengths behind winner Eagles Fly Higher, in the 440-yard, $56,000 Bank of America Canterbury Championship Challenge at Canterbury Park on August 15. The California-bred gelding drew post 8 and will be ridden by Ramiro Garcia.
