SHAKOPEE, MN–MAY 30, 2022–
Relentless Courage, a multiple stakes-winning son of Hes Relentless racing for Tom Maher and Paul Luedemann, is one of seven Minnesota-bred 3-year-olds entered in Wednesday's 400-yard, $25,000-added North Star State Derby (R) at Canterbury Park.

Trained by Jason Olmstead, Relentless Courage is coming off of a third-place finish in a 400-yard Heritage Place Derby (G2) trial at Remington Park on May 7. However, the sorrel gelding has won all four of his races at Canterbury Park, including last year's 300-yard, $28,000 North Star State Futurity (R) and 350-yard, $68,000 Minnesota Futurity (R).

Relentless Courage drew post 6 and will be ridden by Luis A. Valenzuela.

Also on Wednesday, six state-bred 2-year-olds are entered in the 300-yard, $25,000-added North Star State Futurity (R).

Trainer Jason Olmstead will send out four entries, headed by Paul Luedemann's Beep Beep Rev Rev, a daughter of A Revenant. The lone winner in the field, Beep Beep Rev Rev made her debut with a neck victory at odds of 17-1 in a 300-yard, $19,600 maiden-special-weight dash at Remington Park on May 13.
