SHELBYVILLE, IN–OCTOBER 27, 2022–Just one week after hosting the Bank of America Challenge Championships for the first time in the program's 30-year history, Horseshoe Indianapolis will present a Saturday card that features four Quarter Horse stakes.

Ten Indiana-bred 2-year-olds are entered back in Saturday's 350-yard, $201,500 MIss Roxie Little Futurity (R). Randy Smith, Indiana's all-time leading Quarter Horse trainer, will send out five qualifiers, headed by fastest qualifier Piloted By An Angel. A sorrel daughter of the Pyc Paint Your Wagon stallion Paint My Pilot racing for Deborah A. Smith and Sam Cruz's SJC Inc., the filly has earned $141,786 from six races, and her five wins include a half-length victory in the 300-yard, $127,000 Jaguar Rocket Stakes (R) on July 23.

Piloted By An Angel drew post 10 and will be ridden by Juan D. Marquez.

Smith will also send out second-fastest qualifier Winner Spirit, a homebred Apollitical Spirit gelding owned by Walter "Dick" Harrison. Winner Spirit brings in a four-race win streak that includes a one-length victory in the 350-yard, $197,000 Indiana Stallion Futurity (R) on September 3.

Winner Spirit drew post 3 and will be ridden by James Flores.

Also on Saturday, fastest qualifier WRS Hava Dasher drew post 10 for the 350-yard, $144,720 Governor's Stakes for 2-year-olds.

Trained by Randy Smith for owner Williams Racing Stables Inc., WRS Hava Dasher is a homebred Apollitical Blood gelding. WRS Hava Dasher is coming off of a three-quarter length victory in the first of four trials on October 8.

WRS Hava Dasher has earned $34,298 from six outs, all at Horseshoe Indianapolis. Juan D. Marquez will ride the Kentucky-bred filly.

Eleven 3-year-olds, including one also-eligible entry, are entered back in Saturday's 400-yard, $126,000 QHRAI Derby.

Jeff Wiley's One Night Too Long, a daughter of Capo de Capi trained by Randy Smith and a $20,000 purchase at the 2020 Heritage Place Yearling Sale, is multiple stakes placed at the current Horseshoe Indianapolis meet. The Texas-bred filly has won three of five starts and has banked $65,547 this season, and her season record includes second-place finishes in the June 28, $116,000 Horseshoe Indianapolis QHRAI Derby, and the August 18, $84,000 Horseshoe Indianapolis Classic Stakes for fillies and mares.

One Night Too Long drew post 6 and will be ridden by German Rodriguez for trainer Randy Smith.

Saturday's Quarter Horse stakes action at Horseshoe Indianapolis gets underway with the 350-yard, $30,000 Miss Roxie Little Consolation Stakes, which drew a field of 10 2-year-olds.
