Mister Bigg Draws Post 7 for Desert Classic Derby

PHOENIX, AZ–NOVEMBER 8, 2022–Mister Bigg, a stakes-winning son of Big Daddy Cartel racing for Diego Creus, drew post 7 for Saturday's 350-yard, $20,000-added Desert Classic Derby at Turf Paradise.
Mister Bigg will be making his first start since August 27, when the South Dakota-bred gelding scored a head victory on a sloppy and sealed track in the 400-yard, $54,000 Arizona Downs Derby. Mister Bigg will be ridden by Mark Jasso for trainer Heraclio Botello.
Roberto Baeza's La Panama West brings in a two-race win streak that includes a three-quarter length victory in the August 20, $24,000 Double JK Ranch Stakes (R) for Arizona-breds at Arizona Downs. The Panama Wes filly is trained by Candelario Villamar.
La Panama West drew post 6 and will be ridden by Kevin Carbajal.
