TULSA, OK—JULY 23, 2021—It was nothing but Bully Pulpit in the $12,500 Spots And Dots Stakes(G1) for Paints and Appaloosa's Friday night at Fair Meadows.

The multiple stakes winning son of leading APHA sire CRM Livewire rolled to a 12-¾ length win in the Spots And Dots Stakes(G1). Under jockey Andrew Samaniego, the 6-year-old completed the 870 yards in :46.231 seconds, equaling a 92 speed index into a 9 mph headwind.

Ty Blackwell conditions the gelding for owner's Dan and Kay Jones. Bred by Chuck Bowlan, from the Apollo (TB) mare Judys Apollo, Bully Pulpit has compiled a (33) 15-9-2 record and the $8,400 winners' purse tonight boosted his lifetime mark to $285,967.

Mario Cat Tale picked up $2,500 for finishing second. Ray Enow trains the Tales Not Told mare for owner Janet Lenox. Lynn Griffith bred the mare in Oklahoma from the Judys Lineage mare A Special Judy. Justine Klaiber was up.

Giogris Prize, an Idaho bred daughter of QH sire Giorgino, earned $1,375 for third. Raymond Vargas saddled the 3-yaer-old filly for owner-breeder Ralph Hartline. Benny Landeros was riding.
