EVANSTON, WY—JULY 24, 2021—Coming off a fourth place finish in the Utah Bred Futurity July 3rd, Robs Runnin Pistol dominated the fourth of six trials today for the Wyoming Downs QH Futurity, setting the top qualifying time.

The 10 fastest qualifiers, from 56 head of 2-year-olds who participated in the 350 yard trial races, will return to Wyoming Downs on Sunday, August 8th to vie for the winner's share of a $30,000-added purse.

Robs Runnin Pistol took charge after the break under jockey Jesus Valenzuela, to race to a one-length win over fellow qualifier Abc Nalaki. His time of :17.417 seconds established the top mark and equals a 101 speed index.

Trainer Riley Moosman saddled the son of second-crop sire Glock to his third win in four starts this season for owner-breeder Walter L.J. Finder. Bred in Utah, from the Strawflyin Buds mare Mias Running, Robs Runnin Pistol has earned $8,140 this year.

Moosman also saddled 7th fastest qualifier Lola 157, a futurity qualifier by Kiss My Hocks, and 9th fastest qualifier Hear Me Roarr, a Roarrr filly who won the aforementioned Utah Bred Futurity July 3rd.

Rising C Futurity winner Cowboyhatbygucci won the fifth trial by one-length, under jockey Uriel Dominguez, to get the second fastest clocking of :17.424 seconds, also a 101 speed index. Trainer Uriel Dominguez, Sr. saddled the Apollitical Blood gelding for owner Lucero Uriel Dominguez.

E. Lee, J.. Giles and M Neugebauer bred the $15,000 Heritage Place Fall Mixed sales graduate in Oklahoma from the Dmnv Mountable mare Ms Fast Prize. The two-time winner has earned $24,268 this season.
