Duck Dash N Go Fastest in Don Pedro Dash at Wyoming Downs

EVANSTON, WY—JULY 31, 2021—In the first of two stakes on the Saturday afternoon card at Wyoming Downs, Duck Dash N Go added another stakes win to her tally in the $15,500 Don Pedro Dash.

Duck Dash N Go ($14.00) and Daniel Carrillo won the 100-yard dash by a head in 6.746. Robert Young trains the 7-year-old mare for owner Lex Fabrizio.

Duck Dash N Go is a multiple stakes winner with $157,239 earned in 37 career efforts. Among her 17 wins are several stakes at Los Alamitos, including the Independence Day Handicap (G3), the Super Sound Charge Handicap and the A Ransom Handicap. A two-time competitor in the Charger Bar Handicap (G1), Duck Dash N Go has also represented the Los Alamitos distaff division as the third-place finisher of the AQHA Distaff Challenge Championship (G1) in 2018.

Bobby Cox bred Duck Dash N Go in Oklahoma, by Coronas Fast Dash and out of Duck Mea Running, by Tour De Kas.

Clay Teeter and No One Fights Alone finished in second place, a nose in front of Acadillac and Jesus Valenzuela.

No One Fights Alone battled gamely as the second-highest price in the field of ten. Scott Warr trains the 4-year-old filly for Whitaker Farms, LLC. Denny Whitaker bred the filly in Idaho, by Jesse James Jr and out of Bac N the Saddle, by Splash Bac. She has two wins from 14 starts and $10,290 in earnings.

Acadillac is trained by Jesse Villegas for owner Randy Greer. He was bred in Texas by Jerry Chapman, by Azoom and out of the Jess Louisiana Blue mare Louisiana Cadillac.

The 6-year-old gelding is six for 31 lifetime with $44,613 in earnings. He has competed at nine different racetracks in six states, from winning the Wyoming Downs Futurity in 2017 to competing in the B.F. Phillips, Jr. Stakes (RG3) at Lone Star Park in 2019.

Completing the field were Tdm Big Shooter, Tanquery Dash, Easy Ezzay, Dash N the Wind, Missmayastone, Eyesa Special Snoopi and Ud Goldenboy.
