Rlh Fouronthefloor Prevails In Idaho Bred Futurity at Pocatello Downs

POCATELLO, ID—JUNE 24, 2022—With a late surge under jockey Jesus Virgen, Rlh Fouronthefloor defeated Rtm Ginsburg by half-a-length in the $7,900 Idaho Bred Futurity (not black type) at Pocatello Downs Friday night.

Trainer Heath Hillman saddled the son of multiple stakes sire Jess Got Easier to his second win in three starts for owner-breeder Robert Harrison. The brown gelding was clocked in :15.707 seconds, equaling a 91 speed index for 300 yards into a 17 mph crosswind.

Bred from the Saint Shackleton mare Sp Saint Patty, Rlh Fouronthefloor broke his maiden in his first start and qualified for the Crush The Curve Futurity. Today's $4,740 winner's purse doubled his bankroll to $8,250.

Runner-up Rtm Ginsburg earned $1,975 for owner RTM Stables LLC. Trainer Mark Hanson named jockey Francisco Rubio to ride the son of champion sire First Moonflash from the Chickie Cherry Cola mare Rtm Say Your Prayers. Bred by Susan Hanson, Rtm Ginsburg broke his maiden in his last start May 22.

Jess Yaya, also a son of Jess Got Easier, finished a neck back to earn $1,185 for third. David Newbold named jockey Nick Newbold to ride the sorrel gelding for owner-breeder Nadine Newbold. Out of the Hadtobenuts mare Hadtobebasic, Jess Yaya has won one of three starts and earned $4,455 this year.

Nitro Got Me Zoomin, Easy Earl, Sb Fabulous Perry and Reign Of Corona completed the field.
