Four-time leading General Sire Apollitical Jess will stand the 2023 season at Royal Vista Ranch LLC in Wayne, Oklahoma.

WAYNE, OK—OCTOBER 2, 2022—Rancho El Cabresto, Inc. has announced their four-time leading general sire world champion Apollitical Jess and first-crop sire and Grade 2 winner Mr Apollitical Dash will stand the 2023 breeding season at Royal Vista Ranch LLC in Wayne, Oklahoma.

Fees for both stallions will be announced later.

APOLLITICAL JESS

Apollitical Jess is the leading sire of money earners again in 2022 with 28 stakes winners and nearly $7 million dollars through September 30. With more than a $3 million lead, as of last week, the prolific sire should secure his fifth leading General Sire of Money Earners title in 2022.

From nine crops to race, Apollitical Jess has sired 559 winners, 203 black type (24%), earners of over $54 million and average earnings of $63,500, through September 30.

Apollitical Jess is also the year's leading yearling sale sire (by average with two or more yearlings sold). He has had 80 of 87 head offered sell for gross receipts of $9,674,000. Their 2022 average per head is $110,046 and median is $95,500.

Seven of the top-ten sellers at the Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale, including $460,000 sale-topper, Goodtyme, were sired by Apollitical Jess.

Apollitical Jess has sired 10 AQHA Racing Champions and three All American Futurity (G1) winners including 2018 Apocalyptical Jess ( $2,251,556 ), 2019 Mr Jess Jenkins ($1,631,033)  and 2020 Kj Desparado ($2,516,510).

FDD Scout ($656,281 at 3, 2022), runner-up in the All American Futurity(G1), is first foal out of the Apollitical Jess mare Apollitical Scout ($380,952). Rainbow QH Oaks (G1) winner Miss Beth Dutton ($314,877 to 3, 2022) is the first foal from Grade 1 winning Apollitical Jess mare Apollitical Time ($389,829). His champion son Apollitical Blood has already sired earners of over $10 million in four crops to race, including champion Trump My Record ($979,068), Grade 1 winner Apollitical Patty ($1,089,542), multiple RG1 winner Blood Money ($1,123,142 at 2), etc.

Apollitical Jess was the 2010 AQHA Racing World Champion, Champion 3-Year-Old and Champion 3-Year-Old Colt. He earned $1,399,831 while winning or placing in 12 of 14 career starts. He won the Los Alamitos Super Derby (G1) and Champion of Champions (G1) and was second in the Los Alamitos Two Million Futurity (G1) and All American Derby (G1).

MR APOLLITICAL DASH

Grade 2 stakes winner Mr Apollitical Dash SI 94 will stand the 2023 season at Royal Vista Ranch LLC.

From a limited number of starters in his first crop to race, the son of leading sire Mr Jess Perry is a top-15 first-crop sire of money earners in 2022. His top performers include Grade 2 Oklahoma Futurity finalist Cartels Dasher ($24,157).

A California homebred racing for Rancho El Cabresto Inc., trained by Juan Aleman and Jesus Carrete, Mr Apollitical Dash won the Grade 2 Southern California Derby and was third in the Old Habits Handicap at Los Alamitos Race Course.

He won or placed in seven races, banked $216,811 and was also a finalist in the Los Alamitos 2 Million Futurity (G1), Downs at Albuquerque Fall Championship (G1), All American Gold Cup (G1), Higheasterjet Handicap (G3), Kaweah Bar Handicap (G3), Mr. Jet Moore Handicap, and Moonist Handicap.

Mr Apollitical Dash's sire, champion Mr Jess Perry SI 113 ($687,184), is the #3 all-time leading sire of money earners with 160 stakes winners and earnings of over $60 million-dollars.

Mr Apollitical Dash is out of the multiple stakes producing First Down Dash mare Apollitical Dash, the dam of only 2 foals before she died. Both are black type winners including Mr Apollitical Dash SI 94 (G2-winner, see above) and Oneapolliticalflight SI 94 (2 wins at 2, $196,808, 2nd Ed Burke Million Futurity-G1, finalist Golden State Million Futurity-G1).

The second dam is the three-time AQHA Racing Champion and former Broodmare of the Year Apollitical Time SI 104 by Apollo (TB). A winner of 14 races and $904,242, her Grade 1 wins included the Los Alamitos Super Derby, Mildred N. Vessels Memorial Handicap, Los Alamitos Invitational Championship, and Governor's Cup Derby.

Apollitical Time is the dam of 8 ROM, 7 winners, 2 black type including world champion Apollitical Jess SI 107 ($1,399,831), stakes-placed G2-finalist Rocket And Roll SI 99 ($50,886), Apollitical Rally SI 98 ($24,935), etc.

Mr Apollitical Dash's third dam is the G3-placed First Down Dash mare Half Time Attraction SI 96 ($14,734), dam of 11 ROM, 8 winners, 3 black type. As well as champion Apollitical Time SI 104 (see above), she has also produced G3-placed In His Dreams $32,197) and stakes-placed Halftime Separator SI 97 ($29,276).
