OKLAHOMA CITY, OK—JANUARY 31, 2020—The Remington Park Barn Area will open on Monday, February 3, in preparation for its Quarter Horse meet, which opens March 6. Trainers may begin setting up stalls beginning today, January 31.

Due to road construction, the Horsemen’s Entrance will be closed to passenger vehicles until further notice. No passenger vehicles will be allowed through construction at the Horsemen’s Entrance. Trucks with horse trailers and semis with deliveries will be granted access through the construction area. All other vehicles must use the maintenance entrance on the front side.

Dr. Frazee the chiropractor will begin on February 19 at 9 a.m. and will be in the chapel every Wednesday.

The first day of schooling races will be moved to Thursday for this week only (due to weather forecast). If two days are needed it will be Thursday and Friday. Schooling races will be streamed live at oqhra.com.

Remington Park has sprayed and disinfected every barn. OQHRA recommends that all trainers also disinfect their barns prior to moving in and adopt a bio security protocol to protect yourself and horses throughout the meet.
