With Cody Smith in the irons for Amber Blair, Hes Relentless won the eighth trial by length over Handsome Jack Flash, who qualified with the first day’s third-fastest time. Hes Relentless now has won three of four races, and came into the trials off a second-place finish to Big Biz Perry as the even-money favorite in the June 1 Heritage Place Futurity (G1). Big Biz Perry won the 12th trial but in a time that failed to qualify for the All American.

A winning earner of $13,109, This Dreams Flying is one of 15 winners from 18 starters out of the champion Dash For Cash mare Dashing Phoebe ($609,553), who competed in Mr Trucka Jet’s 1985 All American Futurity. Dashing Phoebe has produced the earners of more than $2.37 million, including champion and All American Futurity winner Heartswideopen, champion Special Phoebe and three other stakes winners. |
