OKLAHOMA CITY, OK–APRIL 28, 2024–The six stakes races postponed on Saturday night, April 27, at Remington Park are rescheduled to run on Monday, April 29 starting at 1:00 pm-Central.
Lightning entered the vicinity of the track Saturday evening and the inclement weather forced officials to cancel the six stakes races for the safety of all involved.
The races on Monday will run in the same order as originally scheduled:
Race 1 - Grade 2, Easy Date Stakes [G2]
Race 2 - RG1, $100,000 Dee Raper Sooner State Stakes (OK-Breds)
Race 3 - $100,000 Remington Park Juvenile (OK-breds)
Race 4 - $188,975 Remington Park Oaks (OK-breds)
Race 5 - RG1, $169,175 Remington Park Derby (OK-breds)
Race 6 - RG1, $854,775 Remington Park Futurity (OK-breds)
Remington Park's live racing will still begin today, Sunday, April 28, with a 10-race program, featuring the $159,000 American Paint Classic Futurity. The first race is scheduled to start at 4:00 pm-Central.
