LOS ALAMITOS, CA—DECEMBER 22, 2025–Henry Reynoso Lopez won his first Los Alamitos Quarter Horse riding title, while Scott Willoughby secured his second Quarter Horse training crown here during the recently concluded 2025 Los Alamitos racing season.
Reynoso Lopez led all Quarter Horse jockeys with 44 wins here. His top wins came with Parsons Family Limited Partnership’s Rockin With Energy, as Reynoso Lopez piloted her to victory in the Grade 1 Charger Bar Handicap and Grade 2 Las Damas Handicap.
He also rode Doodah Cartel to the fastest qualifying time to the Grade 1 Golden State Million Futurity. Reynoso Lopez made his riding debut in 2019 before becoming fully established in 2021. He finished sixth in the standings that year ...
LOS ALAMITOS, CA–DECEMBER 21, 2025–With rain on the forecast in the coming week throughout Southern California, Los Alamitos has postponed the opening night program of upcoming season to Sunday, December 28. There will be no racing at Los Alamitos on Saturday night, December 27.
