PORTLAND, OR—DECEMBER 4, 2017—Forwardly placed early, Quattro Dude drew clear of the field to defeat Eyes Movin by 4-˝ lengths Monday afternoon in the Holiday Handicap (not black type) at Portland Meadows. Bh Country Chrome finished one-length back in third.

Ridden by jockey Kassie Guglielmino, Quattro Dude completed the 870 yards in :47.479 seconds to take home the winners' purse valued at $6,375.

Trainer Charlene Whiteside owns-and-trains the Jumpn Chic 5-year-old who has compiled a (36) 3-12-5 record banked $28,486. Malon Cowgill bred the gray gelding in Washington from the Louis Quatorze (TB) mare Quatorze (TB).

Stakes winner Eyes Movin bumped at the start under jockey Jake Samuels but gained late to pick up the second-place check of $3,188. Owned-and-trained by Donald Young, the 10-year-old son of Mr Eye Opener has banked $154,426. He was bred in Washington by Brenda Hoover from the Meter Me Gone mare Movin Meter.

Bh County Chrome, a son of Country Quick Dash, races for owner owner-trainer Juan Sanguino. Luis Gonzalez had the riding call aboard the 6-year-old Washington-bred out of Apollo Snowbound by Snowbound(TB). The $1,593 third-place check boosted the sorrel's earnings total to $53,042. Bill Hoburg is the breeder.

Chicks Fast Farley, Bitaheaven, Win Surfer and Wanna Be Fierce completed the field.
