Tipsy Girl B Remains Perfect 3-for-3 After Dominating MQHRA Stallion Auction Futurity Victory

Tipsy Girl B Remains Perfect 3-for-3 After Dominating MQHRA Stallion Auction Futurity Victory

SHAKOPOEE, MN—MAY 27, 2019—Tipsy Girl B, a Texas-bred daughter of leading first-crop sire Hes Relentless got away alertly under jockey Cristian Esqueda, before cruising to a one-length win over Hr Storm On In the $36,609 MQHRA Stallion Auction Futurity at Canterbury Park.

Saddled by trainer Jason Olmstead Tipsy Girl B completed the 350 yards in :17.789 seconds, into a 15 mph crosswind, to earn a 96 speed index. It was the third consecutive win in as many starts for the brown filly.

Owners Tom Maher and Paul Luedemann purchased the bargain filly for $8,700 at the September Heritage Place Yearling Sale. Bred by Bielau Oaks, Tipsy Girl B is out of the grade 3-placed FDD Dynasty mare Devil Wears Prada B. Tipsy Girl B broke her maiden at Remington Park in May and has banked more than $30,600 this season.

Fastest qualifier and runner-up Hr Storm On In broke in under jockey Doug Frink to finish second for owner Spencer Cordes and trainer Victor Hansen. Already a two-time winner at Canterbury Park this season, the Oklahoma-bred son of Red Storm Cat is out of Scentsy by Ivory James. Bred by Bobby and Vickie Hammer, Hr Storm On In earned $7,213 for the effort.

Relentless Concierge, also by first-crop sire Hes Relentless, finished 1-˝ lengths back to earn $3,606 for third. Also from the Olmstead stable, Relentless Concierge is owned by Tom and Bill Maher. Tom Maher and Eddie Cramer bred the gray filly in Louisiana from the Corona Cartel mare Coronas Concierge. Julian Serrano had the riding call.

Fastest Leader, Beep Beep Zoom Zoom, Fly Relentess Fly, Relentless Jess, Hes A Kingman, Reigning Berries and Relentless Lady completed the field.
