Ud Goldenboy (#6) winning the $11,500 Don Pedro Dash Stakes (not black-type) Saturday at Wyoming Downs.

EVANSTON, WY–AUGUST 8, 2020–Multiple stakes winner Ud Goldenboy added another win to his record in the $11,500 Don Pedro Dash Stakes (not black-type) at Wyoming Downs on Saturday afternoon.

Ud Goldenboy ($5.00) and Uriel Dominguez broke sharply and maintained their lead to win the 100-yard sprint in 6.604 and earned an 82 speed index.

Ud Goldenboy is trained by Uriel Dominguez, Sr. for owner Lucero Uriel Dominguez. This was his tenth career win in 21 starts, and the victory pushed his career earnings to $48,212. Among his stakes wins are the Laurel Brown Derby in 2019 and the Horse Palace Futurity at Energy Downs in 2017.

Dominguez also bred Ud Goldenboy in Utah, by Jr Dynasty Mountain and out of Bvlgari B, by Tac it Like a Man.

Giorgina and Jesus Valenzuela chased the winner and finished a half-length behind in second place for trainer Adrian Zavala and owner Miguel Zavala. Giorgina is also a multiple stakes winner, including the Raysha’s Run – Racing For a Cure Stakes at Wyoming in June.

Giorgina has nine career wins and has finished in the money in all but five of her 22 starts. The Giorgino mare has earned $42,550.

Giorgina was bred in Utah by Miguel Zavala Lopez, out of Miss Flying Jess, by Fly Jess Fly.

Shes Emotionless and Cesar Moreno finished a neck behind Giorgina in third place. The Hes Relentless filly is trained by Luis Gonzalez for owner Abelardo Gonzalez.

Shes Emotionless was bred in New Mexico by R.D. Hubbard, out of Natalie Dash, by First Down Dash. In her last start, she won the 89 and Under Stakes at Wyoming, and earlier this year, she qualified to the Adequan Weber Downs Derby Challenge.

Completing the field were Tanquery Dash, Jess One, Double Sledge, Dashn Courage, Mr Bundy, Vvr Im Alright and Royallittlewagon.
