Stakes Disqualifications Released

AMARILLO, TX—NOVEMBER 3, 2020—The American Quarter Horse Association released the following ruling for a horse who competed in a 2020 "Stakes Races" that required disqualifications due to medication positives.

  • HEZA FUMAR RED has been disqualified from 2nd place in the Heartland Futurity at Indiana Grand held on July 22, 2020 due to a medication violation for Flunixin and Ketoprofen.

Fancy Creole Queen, a daughter of Im A Fancy Pyc owned by Julio Contreras, was moved to second. Rex Dean Books trains with Erik Esqueda was riding.

Non Compos, a daughter of Zyr owned by Sheri Kesler, was move from fourth to third. Tim Eggleston trains with Cristian Reyes riding.
