Inseperable Homebred Wins First Graded Futurity of Year

BOSSIER CITY, LA—MARCH 17, 2017—Together To The End dueled fastest qualifier Captain Jimbob the wire Wednesday afternoon to get up by a neck to win the Grade 3 $233,758 Harrah's Entertainment Futurity at Louisiana Downs. Hez Our Boy finished another neck back in the blanket finish to get third place.

Ridden by jockey Eddie Sanchez, Together To The End broke on top and held off Captain Jimbob while completing the 300 yards in :15.426 seconds, earning a career high 96-speed index. It was the second win in as many starts for the Inseperable filly owned-and-bred by Alejandro Moya.

Jose Sanchez conditions the Texas-bred filly from the Holland Ease mare Gabbey Holland. The $105,100 winners' purse boosted her two-race total to nearly $107,000. Together To The End was a $3,500 Heritage Place Yearling Sale repurchase for her owner/breeder.

Coming into the finals with the fastest time from the March 4th trials, Captain Jimbob suffered his first loss under jockey Rene Gutierrez. Trainer Wendy Garcia conditoins the Desirio colt for owner Felix Martinez. Bred in Texas by Robert and Stacey Martin, the sorrel gelding is out War Silks, by Corona Cartel. The sorrel picked up $39,708 for his second-place effort.

Hez Our Boy, the first winner and first stakes horse for first crop sire champion Hez Our Secret earned $23,458 for finishing third. Josue Ponce saddled the gray gelding for owner Amada Racing. Burnett Ranches, LLC bred the $14,200 TQHA Yearling Sale graduate from the Corona Cartel mare Strawberry Cartel.

Completing the Harrah's Entertainment Futurity field were Emnent, Nsm Cherokee Warrior, Aguila, Krashing Runaway, Louisiana Silk, Ancient Of Days and Shades Of Gray.
