BOSSIER CITY, LA-MARCH 3, 2018--Harrah's Louisiana Downs hosted seven trials this afternoon for the $238,090 Harrah's Entertainment Futurity (G3).
Each of the entrants were maidens although several competed in training races held on February 9.
Going Noble with Everardo Rodriguez aboard, won the first trial, breaking swiftly drawing off by two-length as he covered 300 yards in :15.563 seconds.
Bred and owned by Mercy Hinklin Horse Farm LLC, the Texas-bred son of FDD Going Grand is out of the Jess Elie mare A Noble Jess Elie. He ran second in his training race and earned a 91-speed index today for trainer Lanny Keith.

Trained by Eduardo Morales, Patriotic Games was ridden by Rodrigo Vallejo, winning his debut by 1-¼ lengths. Flores purchased Patriotic Games for $38,000 at the Heritage Place Yearling Sale last September.
Empyro was one of two qualifiers bred in Texas by Bobby D. Cox. Jockey Gilbert Ortiz rode the son of Dominyun to a neck win over fellow qualifier Kr Mr Winter in the fourth trial.
Frist crop sire Five Bar Cartel got his second winner and first graded stakes qualifier in the final trial when Fivebarlove posted a half-length win, under jockey Noe Castaneda, to get the fourth fastest time of :15.872 seconds.
The ten top qualifiers will return on Wednesday, March 21 for the $238,090 Harrah's Entertainment Futurity(G3). The winner of the 300-yard final will earn $107,140.
