WAYNE, OK–SEPTEMBER 26, 2023–Royal Vista Ranch, Inc. announced today leading first-crop sire Flying Cowboy 123 will stand for a fee of $15,000 for the upcoming 2024 breeding season.

The two-time champion son of leading sire Apollitical Jess is the number #1 General Leading Sire of 2-Year-Old Money Earners and the #1 Leading First-Crop Sire of Money Earners with more than $3.4 million through today (Sept. 26).

"Due to Cowboy's high demand, the ranch is no longer taking contract requests," Royal Vista owner Cole Morehead said today.  "The Royal Vista Ranch team will be reaching out to all breeders in the coming weeks who have put themselves on the wait list.  We also want to thank every single one of you who is supporting this outstanding sire  in 2024.

The contracts will be limited and the distribution will be based on the order of which the contract requests came in, the amount of support the breeder has given to Cowboy over the last few breeding seasons and lastly the quality of mare that the breeder has presented during their request," Morehead said.

Owned by Whitmire Ranch, Flying Cowboy 123has sired 42 winners, 18 black type (22%), earners of over $3.4 million and average earnings per starter of more than $42,000.

The young stallion had three finalist in the 2023 $3 million All American Futurity(G1) including the winner Cowboys Gun Z (2 wins, $1,510,000 at 2, 2023).

Two-time racing champion, Flying Cowboy 123 won or placed in 11 of 13 starts and earned $965,811. His wins include the Texas Classic Futurity(G1) and Texas Classic Derby(G1). He was also third in the All American Futurity(G1) and Rainbow Futurity(G1).
