OKLAHOMA CITY, OK—JUNE 3, 2017—The $100,000 Heritage Place Juvenile Invitational and the $50,000 Easy Date Stakes were also contested at Remington Park Saturday night.
Itsmyivory Wins Heritage Place Juvenile At Remington Park
Itsmyivory remained undefeated in three lifetime starts after a driving half-length finish in the $100,000 Heritage Place Juvenile Stakes for two-year-olds.

Itsmyivory paid $5 to win, $3.40 to place and $3 to show. Aqua Girl led in the early going, but yielded midway to pay $14.60 to place and $6.40 to show. Lady Eagle 123 checked in third, 1-1/2 lengths behind the winner, to pay $10.40 to show.
Itsmyivory has now made $35,584 overall.
The Heritage Place Juvenile is for 2-year-olds who competed in trials for the $1.1 million Heritage Place Futurity but did not qualify for the lucrative final.
Still a maiden from three starts, Aqua Girl earned $15,000 for owner Mike Vaughn. Jockey Storm Smith had the riding call aboard the Corona Cartel filly for trainer Eddie D. Willis. McColee Land & Livestock LLC bred the $30,000 Heritage Place Sale graduate in Utah from the First Down Dash mare Aquafina. The $15,000 second-place check brings Aqua Girl's earnings to $17,549.
Also, a Heritage Place Yearling graduate, Larry Rice purchased third-place finisher Lady Eagle 123 from breeder Carolyn Bay for $46,000. Eddie D. Willis trains the One Famous Eagle filly out of world champion producer Hot Cash 123 by Takin On The Cash. Ridden by Omar Reyes, she earned $10,000.
Red Midnite Storm, Sweet Fittin Jeans, Mas Pronto Que Alex, Weetonas Lafawn, Jess A Boy, Dash N Capi and Dynamic Jake completed the field.
Cloud Ridge Pulls Clear To Win Easy Jet Stakes At Remington Park
The $50,000 Easy Jet Stakes, one of eight total stakes events on the final night of the 2017 Remington Park American Quarter Horse Season on Saturday, went to Cloud Ridge. The gelding pulled away over the final half of the race to win by a half-length.

Ridden by Berkley Packer, Cloud Ridge assumed control of the Easy Jet nearing the mid-point of the race and made his foes chase him the rest of the way. Apollitical Wagon contended early but could not keep pace while Political Attraction gained to finish third, 1-1/4 lengths from the winner.
Cloud Ridge was at 9-2 odds in the betting and paid $11.40 to win, $6 to place and $3.40 to show. Apollitical Wagon paid $15 to place and $9.60 to show. Political Attraction paid $2.80 to show.
A gelding by Carters Cartel from the This Snow Is Royal mare Snow Clouds, Cloud Ridge won his second race from three starts this season and made $29,730 in the process. He increases his career earnings to $42,148.
Trainer Luz Chavira saddled runner-up Apollitical Wagon for owners Georgina Chavira and Rio Sosa. Mario Delgado rode the Oklahoma-bred son of leading sire Apollitical Jess from the Pyc Paint Your Wagon mare Wagon Her Tail. Bred by Rito Sosa, Apollitical Wagon earned $9,910 to bring his career earnings to $24,216 from four starts.
Political Attraction, also a son of Apollitical Jess, finished third for owner Justin Robinson and trainer John Weghorst. James Flores rode the sorrel gelding out of Gunsight Peak by Separatist. Bred by Ron Lyles Political Attraction earned $5,451 to bring his earnings total to $73,054. He was a finalist in the Remington Park Futurity(RG2) earlier this year.

The Easy Jet is named after the 1969 American Quarter Horse Association World Champion and winner of the All American Futurity. Easy Jet was bred, owned and trained by Hall of Famer Walter Merrick of Sayre, Okla.
Live horse racing is now on hiatus at Remington Park until the 2017 Thoroughbred Season which runs Aug. 25 thru Dec. 17.
