TULSA, OK—JUNE 23, 2018—Redneckedness, under jockey James Flores, drove to a half-length win over post-time favorite Bodaciouscandywagon in the $17,500 Fair Meadows Juvenile Saturday evening at Fair Meadows in Tulsa. Jess Joe finished a neck to take third.

Saddled by trainer Amanda Tongay, Redneckedness completed the 350 yards in :17.938 seconds into a 10 mph headwind, to get her second win in four starts. The $8,730 winners' purse boosted her career earnings total to $22,482.

A daughter of leading sire Apollitical Jess, Redneckedness sold for $10,000 in the Heritage Place Yearling Sale in Oklahoma City last September. The bay filly races for owner Good Memories LLC. Belinda Shaw bred Redneckness in Oklahoma from the Stoli mare And Poof Shes Gone.

Coming off back-to-back wins, including an allowance race in his last start at Remington Park, Bodaciouscandywagon earned $3,482 for second. Trainer Clinton Crawford conditions the homebred son of multiple stakes sire Bodacious Dash for PV Quarter Horse Farms LLC. Omar Reyes had the riding call aboard the $32,368 earner from the Pyc Paint Your Wagon mare Roll On Candy Wagon.

Third-place finisher Jesse Joe, a daughter of champion sire Coronas Prospect, races for owner Joe Casarez and trainer Robert Esqueda. Roberto Meraz, Jr. rode the Oklahoma-bred filly from the Gold Medal Jess mare Jessie My Girl. The brown filly earned $1,601 for her effort.

Completing the field were Fly N Tell, Lexie Starr, Shaunda N Prizes, Jakes Baby Wagon, Ivory Will Do, Snow Prize, Fddapache did not finish.
