AURORA, CO—JULY 22, 2018—Streak Jase, a 7-year-old son of Streak And Dash, scored his first stakes win on Sunday when he defeated Silver Citizen by 1-¼ lengths in the $15,000 IZYK 870 Stakes at Arapahoe Park.
Prior to Sunday's first stakes appearance Streak Jase has won two of three races at Remington Park for claiming tag in 2018. Ridden by jockey Cerapio Figueroa, the sorrel gelding completed the 870 yards in :44.684 seconds, to earn a 111 speed index into a 6 mph crosswind.

Streak Jase has compiled a (16) 5-9-3 record and banked $9,000 today to boost his earnings total to $43,536. Jackie E. Brown is the breeder.
Runner-up Silver Citizen is a stakes winning son of the Thoroughbred sire Silver City owned by Santos Lopez and conditioned by Alejandro Chavez.
Winner of the 2016 Mile High Derby at Arapahoe Park, Silver Citizen picked up $3,000 for the effort. Jockey Adrian Ramos was aboard the $85,570 stakes winner out of Red Alarm by Special Effort. Clarence Scharbauer Jr is the breeder.
Trickortreat (TB) finished 1-½ lengths back to break a three-race win streak under jockey Efrain Hernandez. Jesus Nunez trains the Second In Command 5-year-old for owner C D Ranch.
Bred in British Columbia by Cosair Holdings Ltd., Trickortreat is out of the Glitterman mare Lite My Pumpkin. He earned $1,500 to raise his lifetime mark past $50,000.
Completing the field were Stormy Red Morning, Z Smoking Gun and Jzoomin Scoot.
