Sheebe A Banshee Flys In Gary Waite Maiden Stakes Trials

EVANSTON, WY—JULY 28, 2019—Shady Stables homebred Sheebe A Banshee flew to her third consecutive win the trials for the Gary Waite Maiden Stakes (not black type) on Sunday to get the top qualifying time at Wyoming Downs.

The 10 fastest qualifiers, from three trial races, will return Sunday, August 11th to vie for the winner's share of a $8,500-added purse going 330 yards. Trail starters were maidens at the time the nominated for the race.

Conditioned by Jordan Hadley, Sheebe A Banshee won the second trial by half-a-length while completing the distance in :16.528 seconds, equaling a 104 speed index. The daughter of multiple stakes sire Sir Runaway Dash broke her maiden in June at Energy Downs then won an allowance in her last start July 6 at Wyoming Downs.

A finalist in the Sweetwater Wyoming Futurity and Weber Downs Utah Bred Derby, Sheebe A Banshee was bred by Shady Stables from the Chicks A Blazin mare Sheebe A Blazin. The Utah-bred filly has banked $15,175 off a (10) 3-1-2 record.
