Top Mares Given Special Consideration To Leading Sire Tres Seis

PILOT POINT, TX—JANUARY 27, 2012—JEH Stallion Station-Texas Division announced today they will offer consideration to stakes mares, stakes producing mares and top barrel racing or barrel racing producers to Tres Seis in 2012.

"The owners of Tres Seis want to insure that he breeds the best book of mares possible," Andrew Gardiner, JEH Stallion Station General Manager said on Friday.

The #1 Leading Sire of 2-Year-Old Money Earners and #3 Overall Leading Sire of Money Earners last season, has sired 33 stakes winners, 37 stakes-placed with earnings of $11.7 million. In six crops to race his offspring have average earnings per starter of nearly $30,000.

Last season he sired All American Futurity(G1) winner Ochoa ($1,244,200) who was recently named the AQHA Racing Champion 2-Year-Old and Champion 2-Year-Old Gelding for 2011. He is also the sire of millionaire Tres Passes ($1,504,928) winner of the Los Alamitos Two Million Futurity(G1) and Golden State Million Futurity(G1); Rainbow Futurity winner Wild Six ($601,632); Refrigerator Handicap(G1) winner Diamond Tres Seis ($300,690), etc.

The champion son of Sixarun is quickly becoming an accomplished barrel racing sire with offspring like AQHA World Champion Junior Barrel's Folly Six and Three Carat Diamond, winner of the 3GP Haras Raphaela (BRZ-549 starters), Seis So Sweet winner of the Old Fort Days Futurity, etc.
