One Dashing Eagle became the first 2-year-old colt since Merganser, in 1988, to be named AQHA Racing world champion. He was also the champion 2-year-old and champion 2-year-old colt for 2012.

"We are extremely pleased to stand this unique young stallion," Butch Wise, manager of Lazy E Ranch said on Monday.

"He's a perfect out-cross and will be a marvelous addition to the Lazy E stallion battery. He is one of the greatest 2 year-old colts this breed has ever seen - one must place him with the greats when you talk about the best 2 year-old colts in AQHA history like Go Man Go, Jet Deck, Easy Jet, Dash For Cash, Special Effort, First Down Dash, Mr Jess Perry, Corona Cartel and not just in this breed, remember, he has earned more than any 2 year-old of ANY breed and his credentials of amazing race record, superior pedigree and tremendous conformation are the big three for breeders all over the world," he said.

We are extremely grateful to the De La Torre brothers and Mr. Carmona for the trust and confidence that they have placed in Lazy E Ranch and we invite everyone to the ranch to see this legend of racing".

Wise added, "The response has been overwhelming from leading breeders throughout the United States, Brazil, Mexico and Canada since the announcement that he is going to stand in 2013 - he is now creating as much excitement with his move to the breeding shed as he did on the race track and that's really saying something!"

The son of all-time leading first crop sire One Famous Eagle won six of seven starts last season and became the only 2-year-old to win a $2 million and two $1 million futurities. His biggest win came on Labor Day with a commanding three-quarter length win in the $2.4 million All American Futurity(G1) at Ruidoso Downs.
