Seize The Win Retired to Stand at Midwest Equine & Veterinary Hospital

TRAFALGAR, IN—NOVEMBER 4, 2016—Four-time stakes winner Seize The Win SI 107 has been retired to stud at Dr. Roger Beam's Midwest Equine & Veterinary Hospital near Trafalgar, Indiana. The 4-year-old enters stud for a $1,500 fee.

"Seize The Win is an absolutely gorgeous son of the fantastic sire in Pyc Paint Your Wagon from one of the industry's leading sire lines" said Dr. Roger Beam.

Racing for Glenn and Kelly Gaff, Seize The Win won or placed in 11 of 17 career starts and earned $358,655.

Conditioned by trainer Matt Frazier, he won the Hialeah Derby, Governors Stakes and QHRA of Indiana Stallion Service Auction Derby and AQHA Ajax Derby Challenge. Seize The Win as also a finalist in the in AQHA Derby Challenge Championship (G3), Hialeah Maturity, South Florida Derby, and Indiana Championship Stakes.

His sire Pyc Paint Your Wagon was the 2015 overall leading sire of money earners. He has sired 139 stakes horses (20%) with earnings of more than $25 million.

Seize The Win is out of the multiple stakes producing Mr Jess Perry mare Jess An Illusion SI 92, dam of 8 ROM and three other stakes horses including Grade 3 winner Mister Big SI 106 (5 wins, $229,202), Heritage Place Futurity (G1) runner-up and multiple stakes sire Jess Zoomin SI 106 ($461,126), RG2-placed Jess A Swingin SI 99 ($33,306) and Jess A Dynasty SI 97 ($70,939), etc.

The second dam is the AQHA Racing champion daughter of leading broodmare sire *Beduino (TB), Indigo Illusion, who won 17 of 30 career starts and earned $867,417. Among her Grade 1 wins were the Rainbow Derby, Vessels Maturity and the Faberge-Special Effort Futurity.

Indigo Illusion is the dam of 13 ROM including Kansas Futurity(G1) winner and multiple stakes sire Magic Dozen SI 106 ($289,338), G2 winner Illusive Feature SI 100 ($64,289), Grade 2 winner and multiple stakes sire First Place Dash SI 99 ($64,160), G3-placed and multiple stakes sire Streakin Sixes SI 102 ($77,765), stakes-placed G1 finalist Gone First, etc.
