Second Crop Multiple Stakes Sire Hadtobenuts Moving to Idaho

RIGBY, ID—SEPTEMBER, 1, 2010--Hadtobenuts, a stakes winning track record holder, has been purchased by Dan Moon and will stand the 2011 season in Idaho.

Moon purchased the 9-year-old Strike The Cash stallion from Jim and Marilyn Helzer of Arlington, Texas. The Helzer's campaigned Hadtobenuts who won or placed in 12 of 17 starts earning $259,747.

The sorrel stallion won the Harrah's Entrainment Derby, Mr Jet Moore Handicap, was second in the Texas Classic Derby(G1) and third in the All American Derby(G1). Hadtobenuts set a new 440 yard track record in :21.463 seconds at Louisiana Downs in 2004.

He was also a finalist in the Dash For Cash Futurity(G1), The Championship at Sunland Park(G1), Los Alamitos Invitational Championship(G1), California Challenge Championship(G1), and Texas Derby Challenge(G3).

Hadtobenuts' second colt crop reached the track in 2010 and he has sired seven winners from 15 starters (47%) with one stakes winner and one stakes-placed.

His leading money earner is 2010 Dixie Downs Futurity winner Hadtobeawinner SI 111 ($28,694), who also finished second in the John Deere Sandy Downs Juvenile Challenge and the Hawthorne Futurity. He is also the sire of Hadtobenatural SI 110 who finished third in the 2010 Hawthorne Futurity and Queens Throne ($25,892).

Hadtobenuts is by a grade 1 finalist son of First Down Dash, Strike The Cash, and out of Shes Bad, by Firebrand Bar. Shes Bad is the dam of seven ROM winners from seven starters including stakes winner Gotabenuts ($81,372), who set a new track record for 250 yards at Delta Downs in :13.044; Cash On Deposit ($69,259), Firebrand Streaker ($23,502), etc.

Hadtobenuts previously stood at Double S Farm in Holland, Texas. His 2011 fee and stallion farm will be announced at a later date.
