SUNLAND PARK, NM—APRIL 7, 2013—Jaime Dominguez owned-and-trained Feature Mr Who broke on top and drew clear of the field by 1 ¼ lengths Sunday afternoon in the $107,3070 Bank of America New Mexico Challenge Championship(G2) at Sunland Park Racetrack & Casino.
Coming off a second place trial effort on March 19, the 4-year-old gelding took advantage of a bobbled start by heavy post-time favorite Jess Featuremequick to win the race and pickup a berth to the $350,000 Grade 1 Bank of America Challenge Championship(G1) at Los Alamitos Race Course on November 9.
AQHA Racing Challenge director Darrell Hare presented winning owner-trainer Jamie Dominguez and jockey Esgar Ramirez with the Bank of America New Mexico Challenge Championship trophy.

Coming off a brilliant 3-year-old season, Jess Featuremequick settled for second place earnings of $21,474 to move his earnings total to nearly $415,000. The 4-year-old Feature Mr Jess races for owner/breeder Melissa Ann Miller and is trained by Paul Jones. Jesse Levario had the riding assignment. The homebred is out of On Quick Cookie, by Royal Quick Dash.
Fastest qualifier Wdc Wendys Wine drifted out and finished three-quarters back in the show position for owner Alonso and Sylvia Aranda. Isidro Rodriguez saddled the Woodbridge 4-year-old from the Vita Sign mare Signs Of Speeding. Ridden by L. Martinez, the brown miss earned $10,737. It was the first loss in her last four starts for the earner of nearly $71,000.
One Famous Hero, Ocean La Jolla, Badfast, Time For A Cigar, Sizzling Perry and The Redd Zone completed the field.
