Rtm Mr Caccia Sets Top Mark in Bank of America Pocatello Maiden Trials

POCATELLO, ID—MAY 3, 2015—Rtm Mr Caccia posted the top mark Sunday afternoon from two trials contested for the Bank of America Pocatello Maiden Challenge trials at Pocatello Downs.

The 10 fastest qualifiers from those two trials races will return to the Idaho racetrack on Sunday, May 17 to vie for the winner's share of a $5,000-added purse going 350 yards.

Ridden by jockey Nakia Ramirez, Rtm Mr Caccia won the second trial by three-quarters in the top qualifying time of :18.179 seconds. Mark Hanson conditions the No Secrets Here 3-year-old for owner RTM Stables, LLC.

Susan Hanson bred the gelding in Idaho from the Dashin Is Easy mare Shirleys Secret. Winless in six starts last season, Rtm Mr Caccia did finish third in the $32,000 Idaho Cup Futurity at Les Bois Park last August. He has earned $5,890.

Absolute Pride also got his first career win in the first trial under jockey Nick Newbold. The Ketel Won 3-year-old filly completed the 350 yards in :18.270 seconds to record the second fastest qualifying time for owners Darla Barlow, Lukrena and Kylie Schoonover. Garth Blattner conditions the Idaho-bred from the First Wrangler mare Sign Of Pride. Les Barlow and Gary Messenger is the breeder.
