GRAND PRAIRIE, TX—SEPTEMBER 30, 2020—Louis Howard’s Let There Be Sound, a two-time stakes winner during the Remington Park spring meet, will put his win streak on the line in Saturday’s 870-yard, $27,676 AQHA Lone Star Distance Challenge (G3) at Lone Star Park.
A 6-year-old son of One Famous Eagle trained by John Stinebaugh, Let There Be Sound has won his last six races, and his five stakes victories during the streak include a three-quarter length win in the 870-yard, $104,000 AQHA Distance Challenge Championship (G1) at The Downs at Albuquerque. The bay gelding drew post 3 and will be ridden by Stormy Smith.
The winner of this race will earn a berth in the October 24, $100,000 AQHA Distance Challenge Championship (G1), which will also be contested at The Downs at Albuquerque. The complete lineup, in post position order including jockey assignments:
