CLAREMORE, OK—OCTOBER 4, 2020—Under jockey Mario Delgado, Jc Wild King got up at the wire to defeat Jess Good Enough by a neck in the $47,685 John Deere Will Rogers Juvenile Challenge Sunday afternoon at Will Rogers Downs.
Trainer Fidencio L. Jimenez saddled Jc Wilk King to his first career win, in four starts, for owner-breeder Jose Cervantes. The $21,935 Juvenile winners' purse boosted the sorrel gelding's career earnings to $24,117.
Bred in Oklahoma from the Stoli mare Oh Cherokee Rose, Jc Wild King entered today's final as the second qualifier after finishing second to fastest qualifier Empressum in the September 13 trials.

Runner-up Jess Good Enough earned $9,537 for owner Diamond Oaks Racing LLC. Clinton Crawford trains the son of champion and first-crop sire Jess Good Candy from the Oak Tree Special mare Fly On Candy Tree. Lifes Good Racing Partners LLC bred the gray gelding in Oklahoma. He has earned $21,859 this year.
Charlenas Relentless was one-length back to earn $4,769 for third. Michelle Hurdle saddled the daughter of leading second-crop sire Hes Relentless for owner-breeders Tom and Kathleen McNally. Also a finalist in the Heritage Place Juvenile in May, Charlenas Relentless is out of the Take Off Jess mare Jess Charlena. She has banked $22,868 from five starts this season.
Jo Shake Em, Bv Rocky Top, Empressum, Isa Super Freak, Chick Kisser, Dbd Orient Express and Kiss My Happy Hips complted the field.
