OKLAHOMA CITY, OK—MARCH 25, 202—1Christina D. Robinson’s CERs Final Try, last year’s champion 3-year-old gelding, is one of eight aged runners entered in Saturday’s 440-yard, $60,000 Bank of America Oklahoma Championship Challenge (G2) at Remington Park.

A homebred 4-year-old One Dashing Eagle gelding trained by Tony Sedillo, CERs Final Try made his season debut with a one-length victory in a 300-yard, $26,000 open-condition allowance dash at Remington Park on March 11. CERs Final Try earned $581,182 from seven starts in New Mexico last year, and his four wins included a head victory in the 440-yard, $710,000 Rainbow Derby (G1) at Ruidoso Downs.

CERs Final Try has won three of his seven outs at the classic 440-yard distance. The gelding drew post 3 and will be ridden by Esgar Ramirez.

Valiant Tiberias won two stakes last season for owners Sergio Holguin, Cliften Nielsen, and Felix Rodriguez. A 5-year-old son of Valiant Hero trained by Marco Adair Chavez-Gutierrez, the gelding ended his 4-year-old campaign with a head victory in the 440-yard, $200,000 Refrigerator Stakes (G1) at Lone Star Park on October 25.

Valiant Tiberias has won two of nine starts at the 440 trip. The gelding drew post 5 and will be ridden by James Flores.
