ALTOONA, IA—AUGUST 19, 2017—Multiple stakes-placed Streaks Of Ivory broke her maiden Saturday when she posted the fastest qualifying time for the Iowa Double Gold Futurity at Prairie Meadows.

The 10 fastest qualifiers, from five trial races contested, will return to Prairie Meadows on Saturday, September 2nd to vie for the winner's share of a $175,000-est. purse going 350 yards.

Ridden by jockey James Flores, Streaks Of Ivory completed the 350 yards in :17.592 seconds to win by one-length and earn a 94-speed index.

Trainer Larry Sharp conditions the Ivory James filly for owners Brant and Jon Barley. Bred in Oklahoma by Michael Teel, Streaks Of Ivory has posted a (4) 1-3-0 record this season and earned $34,156. She was second in the Fl Lady Bug Stakes and second in the Remington Park Juvenile earlier this year.

Sharp and Flores also teamed in the first trial with Estrealla de Noche who rallied to a 1-¼ length victory in the second fastest clocking of :17.687 seconds, a 92-speed index.

Twin Spires owns the Favorite Cartel filly out of Ja Desert Evening by Royal Shake Em. It was the first win in three tries for the MJF Partnership Texas bred.
