Fourth fastest qualifier O Dee was ridden by Nikeela Black in the Bitterroot; the pair also finished second to Jt Easy Bug in their trials. Prior to his trial he placed second in the Pocatello Maiden Frolic Stakes in May.

The son of One Dashing Eagle is owned by Robin Dunn, Larry Chapple, and RTM Stables LLC. O Dee was bred in Alabama by Paris Wixon, out of the graded stakes winning mare Miranda Fame, by Dash Ta Fame.
